CFC SFL Entry Point

The Singles attend a 9-week Christian Life Seminar (CLS). After the SFL CLS we support them through regular Household Meetings, Prayer Assemblies and regular fellowship with other brothers and sisters.
After three months, Singles will go through the Covenant Recollection for an even deeper growth in their relationship with God and a better understanding of their commitment to God as a community. After which, the Single will decide whether he or she wants to enter into this covenant to be a community member of SFL.

Life and Culture of SFL

Worship
We nurture our personal relationship with the Lord through personal prayer time and charismatic worship as a community.

Discipleship
We are all called to discipleship in accordance to how God calls each one uniquely. In SFL, opportunities of service are provided such as giving talks, leading a household, serving in the parish, ministering in the prisons, teaching catechism to children and other ways to lead to restoration of life as a whole.

Ministry
Our spiritual formation is continuous through our regular teachings and activities about God’s promises and plan, the Scripture and our veneration to our Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor.
We also have an annual World Singles Congress wherein SFL members all over the world gather in one place and be nourished with God’s message to the community for the year.

Evangelism
We are witnesses of God’s love and faithfulness through the way we live our lives. Through us, we hope that other people can come to know God’s saving power and will lead them to know and love Him more.
As an evangelistic community, we also go on mission trips to other places within and outside the country to spread God’s message of love and hope.

Fellowship
We relate each other in brotherhood and sisterhood. After the CLS, the Singles are divided into household groups composed of 5-7 members each. This household meets at least twice a month in prayer, personal sharing and sometimes just having fun together.

Stages of Growth / Evangelization

  • Crowd- a member of any Catholic charismatic group specially those who we don’t have relationship and contact.
  • Congregation- the Singles whom we have contact with through our crowd activities. They have experienced Christ in our activities.
  • Community- These are the singles who have already undergone the CLS. Their span of being in the community stage is ideally for one year onwards from the end of the entry point. They are committed to their household; they have a relationship with Christ and other Christians.
  • Committed- These are Chapter Heads and Household Heads. They are in the first and second level of leadership and they play a very crucial role of being instruments of the formation of the SFL Members. They are committed to spiritual growth and covenant.
  • Core- These are the chapter heads (and up) of the community. They are at the forefront of the mission by implementing the CFC SFL programs and culture in their own chapters. They are committed to doing ministries mission, vision, goals and purpose.
